Alongside clinical practice, I remain actively engaged in academic teaching, mentoring, and scholarly work, particularly in the field of internal medicine (Kayachikitsa).
My academic work has always remained closely connected to real-world clinical experience, ensuring that theory, teaching, and practice inform each other meaningfully.
Teaching & Academic Roles
I have been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate Ayurvedic education, with responsibilities including:
- teaching core clinical subjects in Kayachikitsa
- mentoring students and postgraduate scholars
- academic guidance and curriculum-related activities
Teaching, for me, is not limited to delivering information. It involves training clinical thinking, ethical judgment, and responsibility toward patients.
Research Orientation
My academic interests include:
- outcome-based evaluation of Ayurvedic clinical care
- realistic assessment of long-term management in chronic disease
- integrating traditional clinical reasoning with contemporary analytical tools
I am particularly interested in bridging classical Ayurvedic principles with modern methods of data interpretation, without diluting the core philosophy of Ayurveda.
Applied AI and Clinical Outcome Analysis
An emerging area of my work involves exploring the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and data-supported analysis in understanding clinical outcomes in Ayurveda.
The focus is not on replacing clinical judgment, but on:
- improving documentation and analysis
- identifying meaningful clinical patterns
- supporting responsible, evidence-informed Ayurvedic practice
This work remains grounded in real patients, real outcomes, and ethical boundaries.
Educational Outreach Beyond Formal Academia
In addition to institutional teaching, I occasionally engage in educational programs for non-medical audiences, particularly to promote preventive health awareness and responsible understanding of Ayurveda.
